Along our tour, we will visit representative sights outside the city such as the Roman Ametllers’ villa, the old hospital of Sant Miquel, Sans house, the chapel of Socors, the church of Sant Vicenç, Es Codolar beach and the fishermen’s quarter of La Roqueta until the rampart that protects Vila Vella. There, among other middle-age remains from the 12th century and other interesting elements, we can find the statue honouring the famous Hollywood actress Ava Gardner. It is also from this point that we can enjoy one of the best views of Tossa’s beach as well as the best panoramic view of Costa Brava.
We will tell you everything about Ava Gardner and about Frank Sinatra‘s sudden arrival at Tossa!
You will enjoy one of the most memorable sights of Costa Brava from a cottage dug in the mountain rocks!
You will discover a demon whose horns were cut off, in a small chapel inside an old hospital.
You will get to know what the first house that was built outside the medieval walls was, and what happened to those who dared attack it.
You will discover a gothic church that is not as gothic as it might seem, since it looked like a small fortress!
You will discover the most hidden beach in Costa Brava.
And much more!
